We Are Square

Author: steven | Filed under: Muziek, hardlopen

Dear fellow runners/family/friends/newbies/people that fall in multiple categories/others,

This post is a little different then all other posts. It is a little advertisement, promo, whatever you want to call it, but it all has to do with one thing only, some amazing musicians from Utereg me stadsie! Yes, and it is interesting for all of you…Are you tired of listening to the same songs again and again, moreover are you tired of a song when you hear it too often on the radio? Well, “too often” does not exist when a song is not boring, because it is really diverse, though still feels like it is whole.  Songs that are loved by teenagers and “elderly people”, songs that are totally not mainstream and are described as “The Hot shit in Europe” by the American Esquire in 2007 after the release of their third studio album.

Musicians and their songs that fulfil these descriptions have to be amazing, and they are… Who are they? C-mon & Kypski of course! They are a four-headed band from Utrecht and they have just released their new album called: “We are square”. The amazing thing about their music is either you love it and get addicted, or you hate it and you do not get the point of their songs. I love their music and it gives me an overload of energy, so… that would probably work for other runners as well….

To give you a little taste:

I love them and they energize me during my runs, my bike rides, and also at home. The only thing you should be careful with is that you do not get too active when you listen to their songs.

For everyone that is interested, visit their site and listen some more songs…. Get to know our own local artists, as some of them are really talented and do not get the attention they deserve! I will turn them on loud during my run this afternoon…
